Choose model size — tiny for speed, large-v3 for accuracy. Transcrypt handles it.
Speaker Diarization
Speaker diarization identifies who's speaking when in multi-person recordings. Instead of a wall of text:

No manual labeling needed. Speaker embeddings persist in local SQLite — tag a voice once, Transcrypt recognizes it in future recordings.
Output Formats
Beyond plain text, Transcrypt produces LaTeX and PDF with structure (headings, speakers, timestamps) and generates quiz questions as Anki .apkg decks for spaced repetition. More formats coming.

Custom Vocabulary
Technical jargon breaks generic models. Transcrypt has a vocabulary system for custom terms — drug names, legal Latin, product names, surnames. Model prioritizes these when uncertain, cutting correction time in specialized domains.
